Did you get your flu shot this year? Well, guess what? You got more than that. You also got one of the most powerful neurotoxins injected into your body. Mercury. That's right mercury. The second most toxic substance on this earth.

Thimerosal is a mercury based preservative that is used in our vaccines and the flu shot. It is half mercury by weight and metabolized in the body as ethyl mercury, which is more toxic than methyl mercury, the type found in the fish we eat. In 1982 the FDA took thimerosal out of topical mercurials, over the counter drugs like contact lens solution, and small animal vaccines. Meanwhile, the amount of thimerosal containing shots was being increased for our infants and small children. What does that mean? It means that Fido is more protected from getting brain damage while being vaccinated then yourself and your children.

Mercury is extremely dangerous to us all but it has a greater impact of injury to the developing brain. Mercury causes neurodevelopmental disabilities like autism, ADD, ADHD, PDD, speech disorders, learning delays, etc. So you are probably asking yourself, why are they using this toxic substance? Easy answer. It enables the pharmaceutical companies to mass produce and make maximum profit.

There have been no safety studies done on thimerosal. But there was a study done by our own CDC (Centers For Disease Control) that at first found significant risk of injury, then suddenly the author of the study became an employee of GlaxoSmithKline. Then the published study showed no risk of danger. However, documents obtained by the Freedom of Information Act, from one of the CDC's secret closed door meetings, clearly showed their concern of a serious risk of injury to our children by continuing to use thimerosal in our vaccines. Here is an example of what one of these doctors had to say about their findings....."My gut feeling? It worries me enough. Forgive this personal comment, but I just got called out at eight o'clock for an emergency call and my daughter-in-law delivered a son by C-Section. Our first male in the line of the next generation, and I do not want that grandson to get a thimerosal containing vaccine until we know better what is going on. It will probably take a long time. In the meantime, and I know there are probably implications for this internationally, but in the meantime I think I want that grandson to only be given thimerosal-free vaccines." This statement made by Dr. Johnson of the CDC.

There was no such 'disease' as autism until after thimerosal was introduced into our vaccines in the 1930's. Autism and mercury share well over 100 characteristics and symptoms and mirrors other known mercury caused diseases like Mad Hatter's Disease and Pink's Disease, and especially Minamata Disease.

Thimerosal is considered illegal in many countries like Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, and France. Curious thing though, thimerosal is illegal in France, however, the French pharmaceutical company known as Adventis Pasteur, manufactures and sells thimerosal containing vaccines to the United States. Our government keeps telling us it is safe although all these other countries have found it so toxic they will not allow it to be injected into their citizens.

Myself, Amy Carson of Leicester, and Angela Medlin of Raleigh, have asked our State Representatives to draft a bill to prohibit the use of mercury and mercury derivatives in our vaccines and flu shot. We are still waiting on a reply for support. California and Iowa have already passed such bills and 17 other states are working on it.

I ask you, if you had the choice to have a safer vaccine as opposed to one that contained a toxin that could cause you brain damage, which would you choose? Don't be fooled. You will be told that mercury is no longer in vaccines. It is a lie. It can be found on the vaccine insert that lists the ingredients.
